Halloween advice from the GDA Puppy Times

Beware of feeding your pups Halloween treats. Chocolate and raisins in particular are toxic to dogs and can cause vomiting, restlessness, heart disturbances and even death. Keep candy out o your pets reach, a bowl of snickers can be devoured in mere seconds, and warn children not to share with your dogs. If you suspect you pet may have consumed candy, contact vet immediately.

Dogs can be so much fun to dress up for Halloween but please remember to never leave a dog unsupervised in a costume. Dogs may not appreciate looking like a ladybug or a cowboy the way we do and may try to chew the costume off, which can lead to choking or possible bowel obstruction.
